Work item editor presentations - show or hide field/presentation based on values in another field

 Hi there,

I feel like this is not a unique question. Rather it's pretty basic, I think. But I can't seem to find the instructions I'm looking for. If you could help me point to something, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm working with RTC5 right now and it will be upgraded to RTC6 soon. I need to add some custom fields (or attributes) to the work item. Let's I have a boolean type attribute and it's added to the editor presentation with a checkbox. I want to show/hide and reset values of another attribute depending on the state of that checkbox. If that checkbox is enabled, then show the other attribute.

How can I configure this? Basically trying to keep the editor as clean as possible while adding necessary attributes. I think I need to use Attribute Customization and then write scripts for these type of conditions, but I'm hoping there's a lot easier option available.

As you said, this question is not unique, and it has been asked repeatedly on this forum. You should've found the old posts if you had done some search. The reason you cannot find the instruction is that it is not possible to do so, as of today.
