Attribute customization - scrip based valiation

I have created a script based validation and have assigned it to a attribute in edit attribute window and also have mentioned dependency. However whenever I save the WI , the validation is not getting executed . Is that I am missing some configuration ?

I have referred this and performed every step mentioned there except the one adding in process configuration source as I am not sure in which of it I should add

`Did you set up the precondition "Attribute Validation"? And set the validation to error?

yes done that already .

However it worked only after reopening my eclipse client and refreshing the project area.
