we have database and RTC running in two different servers. There are seven profiles and seven instances (one for each). The profiles are in different RTC versions (4.0.2, 4.0.0.1, 4.0.7). database is 9.7 FP 7.

We are planning to upgrade to RTC 5.0.2 and then to 6 sequentially. Since we cannot take downtime for all projects together, we are planning to do profile by profile.

While doing so, I need to upgrade my db2 instances (with db2 databases in it for each profile) one by one. Want to know if its suggested to run two db2 versions (10.5 FP 6 and 9.7 FP 7) on the same server and upgrade the instances as and when we upgrade our profiles. If i upgrade all instances together at one shot, few of my RTC profiles will not work, as older versions will not support 10.5.
