Can a status be applied to a file within a component?

Is it possible to have a 'status' as an attribute or property on an individual file within a component.

It is so that Users can keep a fine-grained status of which files and revisions may be reviewed. Within a change set some files may be reviewed, some may be reviewed later if it is known they will be changed again in the future.

It is thought the change set is too coarse to keep track of.

One may question whether this is a desirable way of working but I'll ask it anyway.

Since RTC 5.0.2 there are custom attributes that can be set for files and other items in SCM. However, there is no user UI for it. It can only be set by the SCM command line or by the RTC API. You would have to create your own client extensions and automation around this.
