How do you add HTML links to work item description?

I often need to enter HTML links into work items, but I'm not sure how to do this.

For example if I enter this in the description field:

http://somecomputer/somepage?parm=true&parm2=false

It will convert the & to &amp. which will break the intent of the link

 Hi,


Add a custom field to your work item type, large html type, but in the display type, select medium html.
So your user can copy/past a http link to this field.
