Work Item "Type Category" Naming Conventions
When I create a Work Item Type Category should I just use a name like "ChangeRequest" or com.ibm.team.workitem.workItemType.ChangeRequest or com.mycompany.ChangeRequest Or does it matter.

I found it helpful to have a descriptive ID. e.g com.company.workitem.category.changerequest.
The displayname can be chosen as desired. I try to follow this schema for all things e.g enumerations and presentations. The reason is it helps me identifying my custom things. RTC 1.x had some areas e.g. Connectors where that was critical. I don't know about RTC 2.0 yet.
