If you have two sprints linked to the same stories can you delete one safely?

Daniel Ruebush (9715187) | asked Oct 08 '15, 2:03 a.m.
I have a sprint (sprintA) and another sprint was created (sprint-A). We now have two sprints one with a hyphen one without.

I would like to delete the second one. But they are both linked to the same stories
. I am cautious and afraid if I delete the second one the team may lose their work that is in there.

Can anyone confirm if it is alright to delete that second sprint?

Is sprintA and sprint-A two different iterations? How do you have one story linked to two different iterations?

I am not sure what you meant by the other sprint is linked to the same story.
But what you should be able to do is run a query to list all work items that are planned for the problematic sprint and change the planned for to the good sprint for all the work items, then archive the problematic sprint.
