Can the RTC Invite Message Be Sent in HTML Format?

A team that I am working with would like to send the "project invite to members" in something more then the informal basic text.  They wanted to include colors and bold information.  I know you can do that with "Approvals", "Messages at Me" and "Work Item Change Notification" ... but can you do it with the Team Invitation Email?  It doesn't appear that you can put that message in HTML format.  Thanks!

That's correct.  You can use a template and include variables but it's text-based.  See Specifying team invitation content in a template
