Integrate DoorsNG with another RM tool

 Hi All,

Objective:
An API for two way synchronization between Rational Doors Next Generation(DoorsNG) and a RM tool (Standalone Application)

Here two way synchronization means when i create a Requirement in DoorsNG it must be get updated in my RM tool(When i reload). Also when i edit or reposition a requirement in RM tool it must reflect in DoorsNG.

From my understanding using Client Extension Capablity(API) this cannot be acheived. Only using OSLC API this can be done?

Also share the OSLC latest API

Features i Expect:
Import Requirements to EA DoorsNG from RM tool
Export Requirements to RM tool from DoorsNG
Synchorize changes between DoorsNG and RM tool
Sync Elements reposition between DoorsNG and RM tool also vise versa.

Someone please correct me if i am wrong.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
MAK

OSLC is the only choice and there is more to that. You need to determine whether RDNG will act as a provider, or both a provider and a consumer.

If you want RDNG to a provider only, which should be an easier option, read these articles.

If you want RDNG to be a consumer as well, you need to make the other "RM tool" complied to the OSLC RM 2.0 specification (linked in your original post).
