Is there any way of creating linking schema/enforcement in DOORS NG

lakshmi shree (571343) | asked Aug 05 '15, 6:29 a.m.
I am trying to create a Data model for the project and I would like to restrict the direction of linking between modules. I have done this in DOORS 9.5  but not sure how to do this in DOORS NG. Please let me know.

There is no direct way of doing this in DNG in the same way as in DOORS 9. You can restrict the links that are allowed between specific types of artifact, but not between modules. I am pretty sure that there is an enhancement request to add module-specific restrictions.

Thanks Keith.. I will check. If it has not been raised, could I raise it? I believe this is very important to maintain the data flow.

59440: Link schema enforcement is in the current release plan (6.0.1) with many of the child user stories already complete in Sprint 2.
