Duplicating the process configuration of a work item type

nannette Mori (50572) | asked Jul 22 '15, 9:09 a.m.
I have a work item type that is in one project area that I need in another project area.  Is there a way I can duplicate that work item type process configuration in the other project without re-creating the work item?

With careful copy/paste and adjusting the copy paste of the process XML, I believe you could See https://jazz.net/library/article/1005 for clues.

Please be aware, I would strongly suggest to try that on a throw away test installation, in case you ruin the process configuration beyond repair. Please be aware that you could ruin your process that way, why you should do that in a test instance to be able to test without affecting your prod instance.

Please also note, you can get to the process configuration XML history in the Eclipse editor.
