Default work item type "setting"

I am using a lifecycle project and when I create an Implemented By from RM to RTC...or if I try and create work items from linking a Requirements Collection to a RTC Plan, the default work item type pops up as Project Change Request.

How can I modify this to be a different work item type? Is this a setting in RTC and DNG?

Something similar to how RQM always creates Defect.

Hi Mahari,

You need to modify "Change Management Type binding" to change the default WI type Project change request

Hi Mahari,

You will need to modify the Process Configuration Source.

https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/index.jsp?re=1&topic=/com.ibm.team.workitem.doc/topics/t_wi_type_setting_default.html&scope=null

Please use caution when modifying the XML directly. Make sure you have a backup and validate the changes in a test environment first.
