RQM Adapter for UFT 12.02

Hi ,

We are having RQM 4.0.1 in our client environment and UFT 12.02 as well. Can you suggest which RQM adapter we can use so that we can integration between these two tools.

RQM Adapter in 4.0.1 only supports QTP/UFT up to 11.0(https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-quality-manager/releases/4.0.1?p=allDownloads), even though in the latest version of RQM 6.0, it only tests up to 11.53(https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-quality-manager/releases/6.0?p=allDownloads). Therefore, it may not work if you want to integrate with UFT 12.02 as it is not officially tested.

Thanks Don for the response. Since we are not upgrading RQM 4.0.1. Below are the options we have:

1. Upgrade RQM 4.0.1 to RQM 6.0 Which is unlikely specially for this case.

2. Give a try to Use UFT 11.5 and use Adapter provided for RQM 6.0 even though we are using RQM 4.0.1.

3. Give a try to Use UFT 11.0 and use Adapter provided for RQM 4.0.1 (Ideal) 

4. Give a try to Use for UFT 12.02 and use Adapter provided for RQM 6.0 even though we are using RQM 4.0.1.

We are evaluating option 2 and 4 using Adapter provided for RQM 6.0, What's your thoughts? Is it definitely going to Fail? or We should give a try using Adapter provided for RQM 4.0.1 or Chances are still good to be successful with option 2  and option 4 combinations.

Hi, Yogesh

UFT 12.0.2 is not officially supported which mean it is not fully tested with the adapter. Therefore option 2-4 are all potentially still working as expected. I don't know how much has been changed in the adapter and option 3 is also worth a go. Given that RQM6.0 has huge changes, you may try with v5.x adapter here which support same version of UFT:
