Stakeholder license

Mahari Hill (4861167230) | asked Jun 30 '15, 12:59 p.m.

Hello,

I see that a Stakeholder can do work item management, and view the dashboards. Can the Stakeholder see requirements and tests that are on the RTC dashboard? Does hover work?

The licenses control write access rather than read access. Requirements and tests are visible in the RTC dashboard, as long as the user has permission to view them. Usually, this means that the user must be a member of the project area that owns the requirements or tests. This is regardless of the type of license assigned to the user.

Ruby, have you tried this with the Stakeholder license?  The behavior the OP requests is delivered with a Contributor license. The Stakeholder license is designed for teams using only RTC.

If a user who has the only stakeholder license, the user gets the access error when hovering a requirement, which asks a contributor license.

If a user who has the only stakeholder license, the user can see the brief record when hovering a test case result, but gets the error asking a contributor license when attempting to open the test record.
