Story point roll-up is for all releases

David Cecil (624) | asked Jun 29 '15, 1:49 a.m.
Hi, the Progress column of the Work Breakdown (and other) view shows the sum of all child story points completed and in any state in the form c/t (c = completed, t = total).  In the Eclipse client it appears it only includes stories from the current and sub-iterations, but the web client includes stories for all iterations, regardless of whether the stories are in non-child iterations (i.e. Eclipse sums points for all stories in Release1 and its sprints, but not those in Release2, but the web client sums points in Release1 and Release2).

When trying to determine how a given epic is tracking for the current release, the Eclipse client behaviour is exactly what I'm after.  However, I prefer not to use Eclipse, and the web client is the preferred interface for viewing plans.  So, is there a way to change the behaviour of the plan view Progress roll-up in the web client so it sums points as the Eclipse client does?

David, I don't know the answer to this one. Please note that the Planning client in Eclipse will most likely eventually go away. I would suggest to open an enhancement request.

You can create RFE's here https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/?BRAND_ID=1 or enhancements here https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWelcome .
