Installing CLM 6

 I'm trying to install CLM6. Have downloaded the installation zip file, launches the launchpad but can't find a way to get beyond the first screen. There is a small OK buttom, but nothing happens when pressing it.

Help!

In order to help, can you tell us your OS platform and which installation zip file from Jazz.net?

The system is a Windows 8.1 machine, but the problem also appears when trying to install on windows 7 pcs.

The downloaded file is from JAZZ.net. Neither the CLM nor the SSE installers does work. The specifc links are

Alternatively, you can download the Installation Manager and from the all downloads page and JTS-CCM-QM-RM-JRS-RELM-repo-6.0.zip (2268.81 MB), then install from this repo.

I guess you are using the web installer: CLM-Web-Installer-Win-6.0.zip (317.79 MB). It sounds like the Windows or your security tool blocked to launch the launchpad. Can you try to do the right click on the launchpad.exe to select run as administrator?

As a workaround, you can click the install.exe under C:\Users\Administrator\Downloads\CLM-Web-Installer-Win-6.0\im\win32.win32.x86_64 folder.

I think Taki's comments is the right answer hence converted to the answer instead of comments. When installing from web, there may be a prompt for you to fill the jazz.net login so that the installation can be started.

Is the zip file you downloaded CLM-Web-Installer-Win-6.0.zip?

What do you mean by the OK button?

Is it the OK button next to "Select a language: English" at top right corner?

If it is, please check if the left-hand-side menu is showing a right triangle pointing to the word "Welcome".

If it is, please do the following:

1. click on "Evaluation Installation" at the lef-hand-side menu

2. click on "Install Jazz Team Server, the trial license keys, and the applications" at right-hand-side panel to start the installation process.
