I tried installing the CLM products on SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 12 and received an installation error message:
CRJAZ9003W - The OS is not recognized.

Is this OS not supported?

It is a good idea to tell the readers the version you tried, if you ask these kinds of questions.

As you can see in the systems requirements (from the getting started of the download of your version) https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/CLMSystemRequirements50

Since these are sever applicationsSUSE is supported for Server applications:

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 11 x86-64 and future OS fixpacks

But it is Enterprise Server and for 5.x only version 11 is listed.

For Clients:

SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED) 11.0 x86-32, x86-64 and future OS fixpacks

is supported. Again version 11.

That does not say it won't work with Enterprise Server (or Desktop) 12 but you might receive a warning.
