RTC V5.0 - having issue in applying default value on Large HTML field.

Hi,

I am trying to apply a default value set. Attribute type is Large HTML, Value set is Multi line HTML it is applied in Default value option however not reflecting in Work Item.

Please suggest quick resolution.

Could you please clarify

- are you adding a default value provider or a value set?
- you said it's not reflecting in work item. Do you mean existing work items or new create work item?

HI,

below is the configuration

New Work Item having below configuration done for putting fixed text across items.

Attribute : Instructions for usage : Large HTML : Default value - Instructions for usage

Editor Presentation kind of attribute : HTML

Attribute Customization > Default values > Name - Instructions for usage > Provider Multi - Line HTML

Default value created with name Instructions for usage is connected to the attribute however when i login to web and open a new Work item or existing one i do not see the text as per default value.

 Hi Pradnya,

Please try adding the default value in the "Configuration - HTML" box as well. It should reflect while creating a new work item.

Let us know if this doesn't work.

Hi ritika,

Thanks for answer however it is the same standard method i have used. i have done this hundreads of times in past however the RTC version was different. this time it is V5.0 for the first time and hence facing an issue. any specific problems in v5? or any addition in method?

Hi Pradnya,

I don't think the process has changed as I tried the same on CLM 5.0 and CLM 6.0 M11 version.
