We think the error is caused by an invalid link in the discussion field. This is the link:

Is there any way to edit the discussion field and remove the link in error ? Or is there any other fix for the error ?

The link is to an attachment. In RTC 2 from Eclipse an Admin may right-click on a comment to empty it's content. It may be sufficient to delete the attachment.
