RTC Notifications for State Transitions

I have a client using RTC 5.0.1. Is it possible to send out notifications to a specific set of people for each transition for a work item ( for e.g. a defect)? In other words, different people get notified when a defect is re-opened as compared to when a defect is resolved.

Hi Leesen,
One possibility would be to use the Mail Configuration for each user to specify the notifications they get when they are subscribed to a Work Item.  This is available from the ccm/admin page (Users > Active Users > select a user > Mail Configuration).

There are a few options that workflow related:

Please note, this will apply to all work items, which may or may not be acceptable in your case.  Also note, they will still need to be subscribed to the WI.

I'm not sure if the screenshot included in my answer is visible, but the options I was highlighting are:
- Work Item was created or reopened
- Work Item was closed
- Other state change
