RTC 2.0-Graphics in dashboards comparing two project areas

Hi,

One of the new functionalities included in RTC 2.0 is the possibility of
comparing cross-project reports. In Beta 2 there is a report called
"work item comparision by project area" that allows to compare work
items of different project areas.

But as the dashboard is associated with a project area I can not have
that graphic in the dashboard. Is there any way to include this reports
in one viewlet of one of the project area dashboards I am comparing?.

Is there any plan to include a "multi-project" dashboard to see info
from different project areas (for users that have permissions in all
project areas)?

Thanks in advance,

Ana

Hi Ana,

For the RTC 2.0 release, you cannot add any cross-project trend reports to the Dashboard. We plan on correcting this deficiency by adding this support in RTC 2.0.0.1.

Please see: 84803: Add multiple project support to dashboard trend reports
https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/84803.

Upon completion, all existing (~21) RTC 2.0 trend report viewlets will be cross-project enabled and can be added to any project, team or contributor dashboard.

Thanks,

Mike

My experience is that a project's dashboard can have queries from other project areas but I don't believe their is a notion of a cross project dashboard that is not associated with any particular dashboard. Today the project area is the root of all of a project's artifacts.
