These are supported for RTC 2.0:

IBM DB2 9.1 Fix Pack 4
IBM DB2 9.5
Oracle Database 10g Release 2
Apache Derby 10.3.2.2
SQL Server 2005
SQL Server 2008

As you can see, Oracle 11 is not on the list. The only thing I can say right now is that it is not currently committed to any immediately forthcoming release and we have it on our list of ones for consideration.

Does repotools.bat (in RTC 2.0) have an explicit check to not run on Oracle 11 ?

I believe there is a check in the server and repotools to forbid Oracle
11 access. I believe that there is also a switch to turn off that
safety check if you wanted to venture off into uncharted territory *and*
promise not to complain too loudly if Oracle 11 loses/corrupts all your
data. If you use the admin web UI and go into the Advanced Properties
page then you should be able to find the version check property

Unfortunately, even with the flag you specified.

Looks like RTC (in repotools as well as in the ORACLE_JDBC variable) expects to find the ojdbc14.jar )

Now ojdbc14.jar is not shipped with Oracle11g

Oracle 11 ships the driver jar ojdbc5.jar

That led me to "a workaround" if you can call it that. if i renamed the ojdbc5.jar as odjbc14.jar, both repotools and RTC seemed to work ok.
