Developers are getting the following error after loading to their workspace

"Refreshing ignore Changes" encountered a problem

An internal error occured during "Refreshing Ignore Changes"

com.ibm.team.filesystem.inyrtnsl.impl.symboliclinkHandleImpl cannot be cast to the com.ibm.team.scm.common.IFolder

I don't know the answer, but this sounds more like a question for support.

what RTC version, and where is the Eclipse client running?

I also have never seen this before, and agree that you'll probably need to call support.  If I had to guess, there is a mismatch between the RTC plugin that is installed and either the Eclipse version being used or the Java Runtime being used.

Please contact support as suggested. I changed one of the comments to a question so that this can be closed eventually. It would be nice if you could share the reason, once it has been fond.

What confuses me is, why the symbolic link should be converted into an IFolder. Do you have symbolic links to folders mounted in your file system?
