Hello,

I believe CLM 502 does not install/work with Windows Server 2008. What about the JBE install and operation? We have CLM 502 on windows 2012 Server, but we need an extra build machine, and we only have a 2008 windows server available.

Hi Mahari,

Product management has stated that CLM 502 is supported on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise and Standard Editions and should work, as well as the JBE install.

Dear Mahari,
  Actually clm5.0.2 may work with windows 2008 server but issue is Microsoft stopped supporting windows2008. So in this scenario, its better to avoid using windows 2008.

Mainstream support ended in January this year, but Microsoft is offering Extended Support until 1/14/2020.

Yes, RTC 5.0.2 BuildToolKit  will work on 2008 Windows server.
