Is it possible to use a widget to show a query result in RQM on the dashboard with RQM native tools?

I want to generate a query and show the result in a a widget on the dashboard, i.e.

  1. Testcases per tester
  2. Testcases in state "draft" per team
  3. ...

Yes, it is possible to create a RQM query and add it to dashboard.
First you need to go to the artifact view such as Test Case, then create a query to filter those artifacts you want to have and save them


You can then in dashboard, add "test artifact" widget and configure the settings to show them:

Showing such information for different users with a bar graph is only possible by advanced reporting services, right?

In general, you would need to explore RRDI or BIRT custom reports and see if you get the expected info in a bar graph. You are right that the existing widget cannot do that.

if you have not yet used JRS, then try to use jazz reporting service. Its a good reporting tool.
