The integration between Rational Team Concert and Microsoft Project is supported starting from Rational Team Concert 3.0.

 I can't speak for 5.0.1, but for 4.0.3 the integration is manual, buggy and very limited!

Hopefully you'll have better luck with 5.0.1.
