Is there a scenario where I would say "No, don't fix this?" If not, why isn't this just automatic?

Hi Sterling,

If you have applied 5.0.2 iFix002 *and* run the command for fixing up the urls with that fix, you can skip the step on upgrade.

The step is only needed if the server you are upgrading has ever been through a server rename.
You can skip it if you know for sure that the server has never been renamed.
However, it is safest to execute the step; it will not do anything if the server has not been renamed.

This is the defect that explains the problem the step is fixing:
The LPA templates can not be retrieved after a migration from 5.0.1 (with a server rename) to 5.0.2  (340648)

This is the defect that includes the step in the migration:
Add fixLPAStorageInvalidFrontsideUrls command to upgrade script (341139)

Hello,

Thanks for responding. 340648 is actually my defect. :-)
Your suggestion then is even though I did apply ifix002 of 502, I should still run this step... "for safety's sake"?
