Hi all,

While setting up the new project area in RTC 4.0.3 we are getting Project Area Initiation failed.

In previous version 4.0.1 we are able to create the new project area from process template but in 4.0.3 we have started facing this issue. I am having the Jazz admin roll in RTC.

In order to resolved this in Project Area Initiation on configuration work item we have remove the "Setup Project" option. But we don’t know the impact on the project area.

Please can you suggest the workaround for this issue?

Error as below

Exceptional running follow-up action

An unhandled exception occurred during "Setup Project".

CRRTC0290E: The work item cannot be saved because the work item's type is not configured correctly at the project level.

Reason
Initializes a project area with the pieces necessary to start work on a project

It is unclear where the process template comes from. If it is directly from 4.0.1 - you can not do that. You have to upgrade a repository to 4.0.3 and the template gets updated. Otherwise create a new process template from a project area that got upgraded to 4.0.3.

The error message is pretty obvious, it says that the work items (created during the initialization if not switched off) can not be saved because the work item type is not correctly configured.

From my point of view, the process template - at least the work item type and attribute configuration is broken.
