RTC 4.x Package and Deploymeny

Verdan Salay (18817) | asked Feb 16 '15, 2:10 a.m.

Hi RTC SME's,

I have a question pertaining two servers where package and deploy will be help.

Given the scenario Below.

DEV SERVER IP - XXX.XXX.XXX.01

TEST SERVER IP - XXX.XXX.XXX.02

Files and objects to be package are in Dev Server so once i package it the zip file will be created in the DEV server.

So during deployment, do I have to copy the folder containing the zip file from the DEV server to TESTserver then do request deployment in TEST server? or can i just add to the build engine both dev and test so that it can get the zip file from dev then uncompress it in Test?

my question is do i need to place an scp command to transfer the zip file to the test server so that it could be found by the deployment definition?

or does RTC support this scenario,

I'llĀ just add the build engine that connects to dev serverĀ in the deployment definition so that it could find the zip file then uncompress it to the test server?
