How to restrict access to one of a component within a stream

Hi,

I have a stream with 2 components in it.

I want "User 1" should be able to write and read to "Component 1", however "User 2" should only be able to read and NOT write/upload to "Component 1".
"User 1" and "User 2" should be able to read and write to "Component 2".

Please let me know how to achieve this.

Project Area name: pspravin

Stream Name: Stream-A

Component name: Componenet-AA

User1: Role=Developer, Jazzuser

admin_user: Role=All roles, Jazz admin

Here is what I tried,

In Project Area > Process Configuration > Team Configuration > Operations Behavior >>>>> Source Control > Deliver (Server) > Choosed "Project Manager" and added a precondition "Restrict Change Set Delivery to Components in a Stream", and added that only project_manager should be have access to it.

So now the precondition looks like - "Component AA", Permissions "pspravin [project_manager]"

But still User1, who is having a developer role is able to checkin and deliver a changeset.

Please suggest.

What role did you add the precondition to? That advisor should be configured for 'Everyone'.

Precondition now looks like -

"Component AA", Permissions "pspravin [project_manager]"

So only Project Manager should be able to deliver the componentAA, correct?

But Developer is able to deliver too.
