If I delete a work item type from one project area, will it impact other project areas that use the same template?
I have a customer that has multiple project areas, all based on the same template. One of the teams would like to delete one particular type of work item, but does not want to delete it for everyone else in other teams. Is this possible?

A project area instantiated from a given project area template is never affected by any changes you might make to a different project area that was instantiated from the same project area template. The only time a change to a project area affects another project area is when the second project area is "sharing" the process of the first project area.
