'local file system out of sync' after running zImport

Bernd van Oostrum (21725371) | asked Jan 28 '15, 2:06 p.m.
Hi,

After running SCM ZIMPORT, my script does SCM DELIVER to deliver the changeset into the stream. However, this throws the following error:

'local file system is out of sync. run 'scm load' with --force option to reload the workspace

Why is this happening?

Regards,
Bernd.

Found it...

ZIMPORT can't be used on the build-workspace. It needs it own dedicated workspace, otherwise it corrupts the metadata of the build-workspace causing it not to be in sync anymore.

Bernd.

I am not familiar with zimport but the local workspace can become out of sync with the remote workspace if

a) The remote workspace is loaded multiple times and changes have been checked in or accepted from another client session.

b) An error was encountered during an operation (e.g. Accept) that modifies both the local and remote workspaces.
