There is a new block issue for this scenario.

We have created the PUBLIC project area for customers adding feedback. Meanwhile, the source code is still in the previous project area.

However, when anyone want to submit workitems on the PUBLIC project area, they should be added into the member list of this PUBLIC project area first.

Our RTC is using the IBM intranet ID as authentication mechanism. Is there any possibility to let our customer submit workitems in RTC, once they pas the authentication of IBM intranet ID. If it works, the administrator of PUBLIC project area will be released from adding members.

I've written up how to do this in the following blog entry:

https://jazz.net/blog/index.php/2009/05/21/patterns-for-read-protecting-source-code-2/

It includes steps and a video.

Cheers,
Jean-Michel
