importing clear quest records in RTC while keeping the creation date

I have created a csv file, one field is the submit_date. I have created an xml file and I want to map the submit_date to the creationdate BUT always the date is replaced by the current date: how can I prevent it ?
The date is in this format: 2007-06-04-22.00.00.000000.

"2007-05-24 22:00": this was the correct format in our case.
