What's the best way to allow an http RRDI server's report to appear in an https RTC dashboard widget?

We have RTC at an https address, and RRDI at an http address.  This means that when we add a widget for a report, it will appear blank on most browsers unless an override button is clicked.   These override buttons are quite small, not labeled, and generally not intuitive to the user.

We are looking into changing our RRDI server to an https address, but is there an effective way to have these reports appear without requiring users to perform this workaround step?

We're using version 4.0.6

Thanks in advance

I'm not aware of any - we had to switch our server to be https to work around this issue.
