Hello, there has been an application reorg. We have ProjectA and ProjectB with their own code bases. We have now introduced ProjectC, with features of A and B. Can you share SCM Components across Projects? Any documentation to this kind of issue?

Is there a better way to handle this?

SCM data is not contained in a project area. It is only coupled by ownership. You can use it in other projects.

As long as the user has access to the other project, you can basically

Flow your repository workspace/stream to the stream in another project area and accept the incoming components; this is also used as an integration mechanism if you need to flow back changes to the components in the other project due to integrations
Add a component from another stream - you can find streams that you have read access to
Add a component baseline and search for components; you will be able to find all component baselines for all components you can see
