Is it possible to configure the automatic assignee in RRC artifact comments?

Christian Winkler (1321623) | asked Nov 03 '14, 10:44 a.m.
Hello!

We are using RRC / DNG 5.0.
When we comment on artifacts in a module, the filed "Directed to" is always pre-filled with a user name.

Is it possible to configure this automatic assignee?
- Always empty?
- Always a certain user?

What is the mechanism for the choice of the assignee? Who is chosen there?

Thanks
Christian

JAZZ DEVELOPER
Typically the default users are
1. The person who created the artifact originally
2. The person making the modification

I don't know of a way to change the defaults. Now when you reply to a comment it does remember the list from the original comment but that is the only option I know of pre-filling with a user name.

I suggest raising an enhancement request on the RM application https://jazz.net/jazz03/web/projects/Requirements Management

Hi Robin,
Has this changed in DNG 6.0?

Can you clarify this:

  • If an artifact is part of a module, and I add the comment from within the module, it seems that the creator and modifier of the module and not the author of the artifact itself are the default users?
  • If I add the comment to the base artifact, the creator and modifier of the artifact are the default users.
  • And myself is never part of the default user?
  • And what is with review comments?

thanks,
Donat

Hi Christian.

Could you name me some Requirement management tools for larger requirements.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Himanshu,

what do you mean? I do not understand your question. What do you need exactly?
