Where did the "New" option go on "My Repository Workspaces"

I have a user who has logged onto the IBM RTC client.   Rational System Architect is also loaded on the client.

He logins to the jazz server and everything looks normal.

In the Team Artifacts view, he right clicks on "My repository workspace" and wants to choose the "New" option to make a local workspace copy of the code.  However, the "new" option is not there!

It works fine on my desktop, and I had him logon on my workstation and try it.  When he logs on to my machine, he is able to see and click the "new" button.

Why is the "new" option not appearing on his workstation?

It may be due to a corrupted Eclipse workspace. Try to start the tool in a new Eclipse workspace, and/or with the "-clean" option.

Thanks for the tips, but they did not resolve the problem.

I'm uninstalling RTC and will reinstall it in its own package group.  It seems like there is a conflict with the RSA.

Hi Hooch,

I think RTC is P2 installation with Rational System Architect.

I do agree with Donald, but If the above two options is not helped.

1) Check the eclipse client is supported with RTC version

2) I would suspect there could be coruption with the RTC installation. Please try to re-install RTC.

Regards,

Arun.
