suspicions on RTC and RQM linktypes

Shirley Jhirad (413149) | asked Sep 10 '14, 10:12 a.m.
Hi,

I created suspicions profile on some RRC\RQM link types.

Now in DNG i know that once a change is done on a linked artifact, the suspicion flag is shown on an artifact.

In RTC or RQM, as i make changes on items that are linked (using linktypes i track for suspicions), i do not see any flag. So i'm not sure how should i use suspicions profiles in RTC \RQM.

I tried searching info on the functionality of links suspicions in RTC\RQM but failed to find any.

Did anyone had experience with this functionality or perhaps point me to relevant info on the subject?

Thanks in advance.

Shirley

See the on-line help on Suspicion Profiles:  https://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSCP65_5.0.0/com.ibm.rational.rrm.help.doc/topics/t_create_suspect_profiles.html?lang=en
In particular, this states:

In the current release, suspicion profiles are used by the Requirements Management (RM) application only. However, by using suspicion profiles, you can track changes to linked artifacts in the Change and Configuration Management (CCM) and Quality Management (QM) applications. Then, you can view suspect indicators in the RM application that are related to those changes.

So you will find nothing in the RTC/RQM applications about suspicion information.

Viewing and Clearing Suspicion can only be done from the RM application. It is currently not possible to view this from RTC nor RQM

RQM does have the ability to reconcile requirements and test cases; but this is a different capability than suspicion

Thanks for the quick answers.
So I wonder what is done once i start to track linktypes within RTC\RQM that are not related to RRC artifacts (meaning linktypes that are not "Implemented By" or "Validated by")

As you can see below, there is a tracking, any idea what can i do with it?

Thanks again :)
