New Project Areas or Development Lines?

Neil Plantan (1082215) | asked Apr 30 '09, 10:15 p.m.
Up until now our use of the SCRUM process has been pretty straightforward. We have had small teams so creating a new Project Area for each "project" and adding the 10 - 15 members to 1 Team Area has worked fine for us.

We have a new requirement for a project that will have 4 scrums. Each scrum team will be responsible for a specific feature. It seems logical to create a workitem category and team area for each feature team. The issue is that some of the scrum teams sprints might start at different times or have different durations.

Should each team have their own development line in a project area? Should the teams be broken into separate project areas? Any benefit of one vs. the other?
