SQL Server 2014 support
Hi everybody,
There is a directive on the enterprise I belong to use SQL Server 2014. Are there any plans for adding this support to the CLM suite? Thanks in advance |

We upgraded our SQL server to 2014 and it works just fine with CLM 4.06.
However, when we tried to upgrade to CLM 5.0.1 we ran into all kinds of problems. We added a DB override command to the server.properties file, and that helped, in that we were able to upgrade JTS, but we couldn't upgrade RM. I think support is scheduled for the CLM 5.0.2 release. In the meantime, we downgraded the DB to 2012. Rob Alejandro Nunez selected this answer as the correct answer

Hi Alejandro,
The System Requirements are listed in the deployment wiki for the current release in progress: https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/CLMSystemRequirements#A6_Databases I am afraid for now, you would need to track this, current backlog, plan item: https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Collaborative%20ALM#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=290788&tab=clm.planItem.discussion Paul |
Hi Rob,
Updated to include the link to the 5.0.2 System requirements where this is now listed as supported: https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/CLMSystemRequirements50#A6_Databases I am afraid though I cannot say why 4.0.6 appeared to work and 5.0.1 didn't, but I am sorry that you lost time on it.
