Rolling up previous Start/End dates from a MS Project Plan Import into RTC
Can Start and End Date attributes be set from an imported MS Project Plan into RTC? The planning feature allows the import and the dates to be preserved and rolled up, but the rolled up dates are NOT reflected in the Plan. Once the Planned snapshot is taken, the Planned Start date begins on the Creation date of the work item, not the start date in the original MS Project plan.

Rob,
as far as I know you can import the data. However, the start and end dates are actually calculated by the scheduler and reflect what can be done with the allocation and associated users. In that respect RTC is a live plan that changes as time goes by. |
