Subscriptions and Notifications for a Team Area

Corville Allen (511) | asked Apr 24 '09, 11:30 a.m.
Can a specific user subscribe to get all work item changes for a given team area?

Can this be done for a specific project area?

Can a specific email address receive notifications for a team area? This email isn't a user in the system? Any admin functions that allow this?

Thanks,

Thanks, is this fixed in 2.0?

This fails probably due to the redirecting of a user to the auth login
page.

Even after entering the following:
https://username:password@myjazzserver.ibm.com:9443/jazz/service/com.ibm.team.repository.common.internal.IFeedService?itemType=WorkItem&user=myuserid

Is this a known issue?
Any workarounds for now?

Thanks,

Yes this is a known issue if the rss reader is not supporting form based
authentication. The only work around is to configure the server to use
basic authentication.

Yes, subscribing to a feed for the team area gives you this. You can
rightclick on a team area in "Team Artifacts" view to create a
subscription for events in this team area.

Perhaps a feed would be better for a team specific view.
