Hi,

I want to run online verify tool against RTC to check data inconsistency. But before running i want to know whether it will impact any performance to the server. Will the server slowdown while running online verify tool.

Thanks in advance

Hi Amit,

The online verify tool will consume a lot of temp space in your database.  On Oracle, we've seen sites where they do not have AUTOEXTEND on say only 1GB temp dbspace fail to complete.
I mention this, as depending on your topology, you may have your database on your Jazz/application server and this would need to be considered.

I think the fact that this question wasn't replied to straight away is the relative uncertainty of the reply.  So much depends on your specification of machine, topology and load.  Suffice it to say, I'd schedule this to run when you have little or no users on the system.

Kind regards,
Paul
