RTC - Retrieve Queries from User That is No Longer In System

Jamie Schena (531521) | asked Jul 01 '14, 1:26 p.m.
 Hello,

One of our users left the company. We need to use some of her queries for reporting purposes. The queries were also on her personal dashboard. Is it possible to get these queries or her dashboard?

Thanks,
Jamie

Were any of the queries or her dashboard shared?

If they were shared with someone, I don't know who unfortunately.

Hi Jamie

I tried the following scenario's:

1) For a JazzUser A, created a personal dashboard.
2) Login as Jazzuser B, will not see the dashboard of A.
3) Now, User A share the personal dashboard, user B can now view user A dashboard also.
4) Now, archive user A. User B can still see user A dashboard.

Alternatively, if the user A has not shared his dashboard, login using a JazzAdmin role
move to the URL:
https://<<hostname:port>>/jts/dashboards/all

This will list all the dashboards whether shared or personal for the users(active and archived).

Now, you can search for the queries and access the dashboard of the archived users too.

The dashboard is shared publicly.  You should be able to see "View all shared dashboards" as an option from the Home menu dropdown on the RTC web client.

Hope this helps,
