What are you trying to achieve by such a comparison?
I don't think there is any point in comparing because if it's only version control you are comparing then RTC is not in the same league (not even close!).
However, if you were to consider the complete RTC model, version control, with work item management, build management, planning, etc, then RTC version control in that context becomes much more useful.
In short, I would never use RTC just for version control, however, if you are using it with the other features of RTC, or plan to use those features in the future, then you start to unlock the full potential.

My general guidance:
Try RTC-SCM. If it meets your needs, use it. If it doesn't, use ClearCase. Any attempt to do a "feature comparison" will be more misleading than informative. |
