RQM dashboard widget- adding group filters removes the color palette settings

On the RQM dashboard, when the group filter is used, any color palette setting does not appear on the widget. The whole graph appears in the same color. herefore, user has to choose either to use the color palette or use the Group filter.
Can anyone advise if there is a way both can be used i.e group filter and color palette?

There are many different types of viewlets/widgets in the dashboard.  Suppose this is a report with graph, but which specific widget is this?
