Is it possibel to remove CPU from the list of types in the Lab Resources and channel properties

Flemming Ask Sørensen (401114) | asked Apr 24 '14, 7:48 a.m.
I am running 4.0.6
We are using RQM for testing embedded software in pumps and our lab resources are things like Flow meter, Pressusre meter, water tank, power supply,
and not
CPU, Operating system, software patch, IP interface ect.

Is it possible to remove the pre-define list and only have my own?

 Flemming,
Currently it is not possible to remove/hide the default values from the list
There is an existing enhancement request to add this functionality

Thanks

Ara

Is there anything we can do to push to have this in a comming release this year?

If you want to move into the system engineering world where we are developing software embedded in products like pumps, cars, household ect we can live with lab inventory / test environment is CPU's, servers, operating systems. We want lab inventory to be as mentioned above.

Thanks

Flemming

Flemming,

I would encourage you subscribe to the workitem ( RFE) and add some additional information regarding your business needs. This will add weight and increase the visibility of the workitem.
