Work Item Import to RTC and update resolution date

In RTC V401 when you do a work item import from CSV is it possible to fill the "Creation date" and is required "resolution date" with a value from the CSV file. Or are these "special" fields within RTC and therefore protected from such updates. Or is there a way to redefine them.

This would only be needed for 1 custom work item type.

you can specify those fields..

export some workitems and look at the data
make sure to select those columns in the Add Columns selection page

Thanks. I updated the CSV headers to match the attribute names and got Creation date updating but not Resolution. I then discovered that the state of "Resolved" was defined as being in the "In Progress" group and that the resolution date field could not then be populated until the state was set to "Closed"

Sam is correct - when you run the export, make sure to include those fields as columns.
If this is a CSV you created, just make sure to have a column for each of the attributes.
Then update your CSV with the values you want. When you import it, make sure you select 'update' if they are existing work items; otherwise new ones will be created.
