I have several testcases in RQM (4.0.4):

TC A (weight 50)
TC B (weight 78)
TC C (weight 22)

I execute each testcase daily.  I'd like to have a report that shows me the latest results (today) compared to the previous (yesterday) results factoring in the weight.  From the "Reporting Data Model (DW)" package which data items can I use to accomplish this?

Is it possible to display TC results based on a date (or current date -1)?

I am a Cognos novice.  Thanks!

Hi Michael,

Since you are going to use the Metrics, the best way to take advantage of them is by using its dimensions, instead of the details.  What I mean by that is you should use the "Date" dimension instead of the date in the Detail.  You mentioned you want the totals per Test Case, that's another dimension that you should use in your report, so at the end you'll have the totals per Test Case up to a particular date.

I hope this helps and didn't make things more confusing.

Thanks,

Clara

I was able to figure this out.  I used the following and setup a variable that allows me to prompt a user for how many prior executions they'd like to see:
